We have a small, six cabin, family resort nestled in the trees on the south shore of Woman Lake. Five of our cabins are on the Woman Lake shoreline and one is on the shoreline of IXL lake which is a small but beautiful lake. Our cabins are all lakeside with terrific views of the lake. They have knotty pine interiors, large patio doors, and comfortable decks. They also have new kitchenettes with stainless steel sinks, new appliances, showers, many new windows, and a fresh feeling of wholesome cleanliness. We have invested more than fifteen thousand dollars per year on improvements for over a decade now and feel that our resort is very modern, clean, and comfortable. A few years ago we had the entire resort re-wired and installed 80 gallon water heaters on every cabin. We also remodeled the bathrooms in all cabins. The Woman Lake Association has been actively stocking Walleye fingerlings in the thousands for several years and that program is paying off in BIG FISH. In addition we have been catching many very large sunfish for the past three years. We have a nice sandy beach with docks on both sides to keep boats out of the swim area. We keep a floating dock tied to the end of one dock that is great fun for the kids because it sits over a weed bed full of perch and sun fish. If you have your own boat, you'll be extremely impressed with our sheltered harbor where the water is always calm. All interiors are decorated in knotty pine. Kitchens have new appliances. And each cabin has either a deck or cobblestone patio over looking the lake. The seventh cabin is a full 4 bedroom house located on IXL Lake.
